Scherenschnitte Portraits - Workshop with Larry Wood

Scherenschnitte which means "scissor cuts" in German is the art of paper cutting design.

Workshop will start at 6.30pm and end at 10.30pm

Workshop fee is $30/person if you want to make your own and free if you just come to watch. Purchase Tickets to reserve your spots as they are limited. Or if you like to take your chances Cash at the door.

Friday May 10th we are hosting a Scherenschnitte workshop with Larry Wood who will be your instructor for the night. You will have the chance to try and make your own silhouette cutting. Larry Wood will guide you through the process and you get to walk home with your very own Scherenschnitee. It can be a portrait of you or a loved one, a pet or an object. It can be anything but it needs to be a profile.

All necessary materials will be provided.

Larry Wood is a one of a kind metal craftsman, dilettante artist and an amazing conversationalist whose favorite response to making things, has always been "let's just do it"! You are probably familiar with him as his works were the 1st exhibit at Prism Arts Philadelphia
